5 Reasons to Keep Your Vegas Bachelor or Bachelorette Party Tame

Articles

Whether you are going to Vegas specifically to get married or you decide while you are already in Vegas to tie the knot, you will likely be faced with the idea of a bachelor or bachelorette party in Vegas. Las Vegas is a city of possibility, and when it comes to a pre-wedding party, your options are almost limitless. However, there are several reasons why you may want to keep your bachelor or bachelorette party somewhat tame.

Stay True to Your Current Relationship

If you are planning to get married in Vegas, then it is likely that you are already in a monogamous relationship with your partner. You and your partner may have your own definition of cheating and what is allowed during a bachelor or bachelorette party. Some couples are fine with a wild party while others consider things like strip clubs and flirting with strangers a form of cheating, even in the context of a bachelor or bachelorette party.

Rather than toss out all of your relationship rules for a single night before your wedding, make sure that your pre-wedding party follows the basic rules for faithfulness that you abide by on a daily basis. This way, you will not be starting your marriage with secrets, guilt, or mistrust.

Know That Photos Will Surface

The saying, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" is rarely true. With everyone in your party toting a smartphone, it is likely that photos of your pre-wedding party will surface. You should make sure that these photos will not be something that you are ashamed of and that they will not hurt your relationship with your future spouse.

Keep Your Finances in Check

When you are in Vegas, the sky is the limit, but you will quickly rack up a bill to match your extravagance. When you start a night of partying in Vegas, it can be easy to spend more than you expect. To make sure you do not have a surprise when your next bank statement arrives, you should plan your pre-wedding party and then stick to your plan and your set budget. If you want to let loose and forget about the finances, put one of your friends in charge of capping your spending.

Be Bright-Eyed for Your Wedding

If you are traveling to Vegas for your wedding, it is likely that you will only have a few days there. This means that instead of a week or month before your wedding day, your bachelor or bachelorette party will likely happen a night or two before your wedding. While it can be tempting to let loose with your friends one final time, you should keep in mind how alcohol may make you feel the next day. Make sure to curb your partying with enough time to get rest and be ready for your wedding. Also, keep in mind that most wedding chapels will refuse to conduct your wedding if you have been drinking

If you want to have a very crazy night of drinking and partying, consider doing this after your wedding instead of before.

Have More Fun by Combining Your Pre-Wedding Parties

Unless you often travel to Vegas with your significant other, spending time together in the city may be limited. Instead of planning separate, crazy parties, consider combining your party into a co-ed night of exploration. It can be a way to get to know each other even better and can be a fun way to explore your relationship boundaries safely.

If you are getting married at a chapel in Vegas, you may be tempted to follow the classic example of a crazy bachelor or bachelorette party. Instead, consider toning it down and concentrating on an amazing wedding experience instead. Find a chapel through a website like http://www.alittlewhitechapel.com.
